Hottie: Cameron Douglas, 38, was adamant on staying in shape for his
future fatherly duties as he embarked on a gruelling run along
Manhattan's Hudson River Park on Sunday
Cameron looked incredible as he displayed his sensational form which proved to be heavily inked as he headed for the run.
The
celebrity offspring flaunted his gym-honed torso in a pair of light
blue shorts and paired it with trendy trainers which provided enough
comfort for him to sprint down the streets
Wanting to be totally in the zone, Cameron opted in favour of some high energy music as he was seen sporting headphones.
Taking no risks for a potential injury, he ensured to properly stretch before he headed off for a run in the sunny weather.
Dad to be: It was announced last week that the son of Hollywood star
Michael Douglas, 72, is expecting his first child with girlfriend
Viviane Thibes
The star - who appeared in 2003's It Runs
In The Family with his dad Michael as well as grandfather Kirk Douglas,
100 - has been sober ever since.
Thibes was first seen with Cameron just after he was released from prison in August 2016.
After getting out of prison Cameron told The Huffington Post: 'I feel thoroughly blessed.
'I
have a beautiful and loving family who has faithfully supported me
every step of the way, believing in me and refusing to give up in the
face of one bleak adversity after the next.'
He added: 'I feel in the deepest recesses of my heart that there is a beautiful purpose hidden along this painful journey.'
In
2013 Michael - who is best known for TV's The Streets Of San Francisco
and the movie Basic Instinct - told Vanity Fair he was 'very
disappointed in the system' when his son was not released from prison.
'My son is in federal prison,' he told reporters. 'He’s been a drug addict for a large part of his life.
'Part
of the punishments—if you happen to have a slip, and this is for a
prisoner who is non-violent, as about a half-million of our
drug-addicted prisoners are—he’s spent almost two years in solitary
confinement.
Right now I’ve been told that I can’t see him for two years. It’s been over a year now. And I’m questioning the system.'
He
went on: 'Obviously at first, I was certainly disappointed in my son.
But I’ve reached a point now where I’m very disappointed with the
system.
'And as you can see from what
Attorney General Eric Holder has been doing regarding our prison system,
I think things are going to be revived, regarding nonviolent drug
addicts.
'My last
comment on that is the United States represents 5 percent of the world’s
population and we have 25 percent of the world’s prisoners.'
'You inspire me everyday': Viviane has shared a few photos to her
Instagram page with Cameron where she's expressed her love for him
